Marie Barth - Owner, Limited Practice Officer, Designated Escrow Officer - Marie is one of the founders/owners of DESIGNATED ESCROW, INC. Marie has lived in the Lakewood area for over 42+ years. She holds the positions of President, Limited Practice Officer and Designated Escrow Officer. Marie has been in the escrow industry for 35 years, 22 years as president of
DESIGNATED ESCROW, INC. Areas of expertise in the business are commercial and high-end closings as well as residential sales transactions.
Marie’s outside interests include family life, her granddaughters, terrific friends, community interests, swimming, boating, motorcycle riding and theater. She has served as Board Member of the Affiliate Council at Tacoma Pierce County Board of Realtors, also serving as a committee member of the Governmental Affairs committee at TPCAR. Marie is President for Women's Council of Realtors, Vice Chair City of Lakewood Arts Commission, and 2011 Director for TPCAR ( Tacoma Pierce County Assoc. of Realtors )

Bruce Barth - Owner is one of the founders/owners of DESIGNATED ESCROW, INC. He holds the position of Vice-President and CEO. Bruce has been our field person for a number of years. Bruce is available to assist you in your escrow needs. Bruce has served the community as Past President of the Lakewood Area Shelter (LASA) assisting struggling families with a need for temporary help. Outside interests are family life including his grand daughters, friends, community interests, fishing both in Washington State and Alaska and boating and enjoying his trusty buddies (the family dogs) and of course his motorcycles and cars.

Stacey Wiley
joined our team as
an Escrow Assistant in 1998. Through her dedication to the company and her
determination to take care of the clients needs she was elevated to an Escrow
Closer position where she continues to serve her clients. She served for 8 1/2 years active duty with the United States Army and 3 years with the
Washington State National Guard. Her passions in life are her husband Mike, her
two children and her dogs Daisy and Simon. She enjoys running, bike riding and attending
after school sports with her children. Stacey has strong ties with the military
community and local law enforcement authorities.
Kris Glassie is a graduate of the University of Washington and came to DESIGNATED ESCROW in 2002 after ten years of working as a Contract Administrator in commercial construction. She loves both the challenge and the pace of being an escrow closer. In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and any thing that makes her laugh. Kris holds both an Escrow Officers license and a Limited Practice Officer's license
Vonnie Stafford joined the Designated Escrow family in 2002 as a part time closer. She is very knowledgeable and brings 40 years of experience to the company. Vonnie manages processing of reconveyances and fills in during vacation times.
Helen Irwin is the most gracious lady. She does her job with a smile and cheerful attitude. She is active in her church and is raising two of her grandchildren. Helen speeds up the process of delivering documents, commission checks and in general, makes everyone's life easier.
Deborah Hawkins-Joyce: Deborah prides herself on listening and getting the job done with integrity and professionalism, exceeding the customer's expectations. Trusted friend to all who her, Deborah's passions in life are her two daughters and husband of over twenty-nine years. She loves volunteering and fundraising for the industry as well as her community. She joined Designated Escrow in September of 2010 and is continuing her education in the Real Estate Industry
Karen Defilippis joined our team in August 2010 with 22 years of title experience and has now been given the opportunity to experience the escrow side of the business as a Transaction Coordinator. Her motto is to always give the best customer service possible. Karen moved to Washington State in 1981 after growing up in North Carolina and Germany with her military family. Her home life is spent with her husband, son and cat. She enjoys reading, playing, and working outside, shopping for bargains, movies, traveling to new destinations and visiting out of state family.
Carin Jones grew up in the area, and graduated from Western Washington University. She spent several years working in the consumer loan industry while living in Anchorage, AK. She came to Designated Escrow to continue serving clients with the highest level of customer service. In her free time she enjoys surrounding herself with family, friends, and animals.
